Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Plot My Space apps and website (the "Service"), provided by Plot My Space ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Licence to use the Service

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own business or personal space-planning purposes, subject to these Terms and any applicable app-store terms (including Apple's).

2. Your content

You retain all rights to the layouts, files, and data you create or import ("Your Content"). Your Content is stored on your device. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any files you import (for example CAD drawings), and for keeping your own backups. We are not responsible for any loss of on-device data.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service unlawfully or to infringe others' rights;
• reverse-engineer, copy, resell, or redistribute the Service except as allowed by law;
• attempt to disrupt or compromise the Service's security or integrity.

4. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

The Service offers a free tier and paid Pro and Business subscriptions. Paid subscriptions are sold and billed through your Apple App Store account.

• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends, at the price shown in the app.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device's Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies.
• Prices may change; we'll give notice as required and changes won't affect your current paid period.

5. Free features and exports

Exporting your plans (PDF, CSV, JSON) is available on all tiers, including the free tier. We may change which features are included in each tier over time.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding and content (excluding Your Content), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms don't transfer any of those rights to you.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". While we aim for accuracy, you are responsible for verifying all measurements, scales, capacities and clearances before relying on them for construction, safety, compliance, or commercial decisions. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted, and outputs are planning aids, not professional, engineering, or legal advice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Where permitted, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to comply with the law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as sections 6–8) will continue to apply.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll revise the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
